House of Earth and Blood | Part III (Ch. 42-64)

DISCLAIMER: SPOILERS AHEAD!

First off, shout out to Juniper. A true friend who stood by Bryce in the darkest time of her life. Who was with her when she was contemplating jumping off a roof instead of facing life without Danika. Juniper, flowers to you!

And my Hunt?!? Getting attacked by the demon?!? I nearly wept! It’s also quite odd that this demon seems to be following Bryce, but not injuring her at all. (Having completed the book, I now know why). But, that was definitely something I clocked while reading and it was so suspicious to me! And seeing Hunt begin to show how much he cares for Bryce has me swooning! Then he gets his wings cut off?! He is going through it! He has been going through it for over 2 centuries! HE deserves to catch a break, and I just know Bryce will be that peace that he needs.

Lastly, my jaw was on the floor at various points during this week’s read! Of course with what I commented on above, but also the revelation that Danika was ALLEGEDLY selling synth?!?!?! Maas is really throwing shocker after shocker into this book! and it is only Book 1 of the series!

Anyways, onto part four. I just know this is going to be A LOT to handle. I wish everyone luck!
