The movie trailer for Netflix’s adaptation of the novel People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry has finally dropped and let me just say, I am NOT disappointed! I am an Emily Henry stan through and through and I simply must have a movie adaptation of ALL of her novels pronto! It is not a want, but a need.

The trailer perfectly depicts the scenes I created in my head when I read the novel the first time, and I fell in love all over again. To reimmerse myself in the world of Poppy and Alex will be a dream come true. January 9th, 2026 cannot come fast enough!

Poppy’s mom? Hilarious. The friendship between her and Alex? To die for. The hint of chemistry the trailer shows? Yes, please! Give me more! Oh, and the actors playing Poppy and Alex? 10/10 perfect casting.

Time to reread the book before I have my Emily Henry movie night *swoon.
