Cooking on a Budget

The grocery prices lately are absolutely insane and I NEED to find new ways of cooking tasty meals for cheap because why the f**k am I paying $200 a week for 2 people and a 3 year old? Make it make sense.

I will be starting a Cooking on a Budget series because I am almost positive that it is not just me who needs more recipe ideas. If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them below.

Coming from a household that never, and I mean never, cooked family meals, cooking has been a fun and new experience for me throughout my adult life. I get to be creative, and yes, I have failed in my creative attempts. However, I have also had some great successes. Growing up on Kid Cuisine and cereal for dinner, I made sure to do a complete 180º and began to cook Lemon Garlic Shrimp concoctions and homemade Chicken Alfredo. Both so delicious, but also both pricey when not being mindful of the ingredients we are buying.

I hope this series helps you as much as I expect it will help me.

From a girlie who LOVES an aesthetically pleasing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it’s time to be smart about our money. While food is important, we do not need to be spending crazy money for each meal.

Good luck to us!
