Dancing With The Stars Recap | Finale

It’s the finale!!!! We are finally here!

While I enjoyed seeing all the eliminated celebs, I’d be lying if I said I’m not only here for Whitney. I will forever shout from the rooftops that she is so mesmerizing to watch and knows how to captivate an audience.

Judges-Choice

I heard Carrie Ann say samba to Alix and I almost cried because Whitney’s TikTok night will forever be my favorite dance. Hold on while I go cry.

Alix’s samba wasn’t loose enough for me. It felt very stiff. I totally agree with Carrie Ann when she says refined fierceness because the fierceness is there. Also, Bruno forever had me dying laughing because his energy is just hilarious in the best way. Side note: I love Carrie Ann’s dress and I want it! Do I agree with the perfect score? No. But, I’m also not trained in ballroom at all and am going off vibes alone.

Before I comment on Dylan‘s dance, I just wanna say that Bruno has such a sexy energy and I love it! Dylan started off so strong, but I don’t know if that’s my hormones talking because look at those abs. I didn’t feel that Daniella overpowered him too much this time which I enjoyed.

Wait, Bruno is 70!?! that is a 70-year-old I would let hit if he swung my way. I said what I said.

I’m no better than a man because I was just staring at Dylan‘s abs the entire time he was getting his scores. Don’t judge.

My commentary on the dancing? Yes.

Before I comment on Elaine’s dance, I want to say that I literally cannot get enough of watching Derek dance, and I want to see more. Elaine looked so beautiful and so elegant. #JusticeForMeredithBlake Like Bruno said, the perfect balance of sensuality and elegance. Perfect score well deserved. I truly, at this point, do not know who is going to win.

Seeing the eliminated dancers dance, while enjoyable, reminds me of why they got eliminated. It’s also so funny to see Emma‘s shock every single time her and Andy were not eliminated.

Robert never fails to give everyone their flowers, and I am here for it! He deserves 10s all around! He looked amazing! He looked entertaining! He looked sexy! He captivated the crowd! Him and Witney are a perfect pairing. And he is so amazing for shouting out the woman in his life. He is the golden retriever of golden retrievers, and I love it.

Jordan was powerful as fuck! This is her dance! The choreography was fucking amazing! I could not take my eyes off of her or Ezra! Her best dance of the entire season! I disagree with Carrie Ann, the attack in the beginning was the perfect amount of strength. However, the hecklers in the audience are ridiculous and no woman deserves to be spoken to that way they need to chill and be removed. She is literally doing her job.

Instant Dance

Alix’s finale cha-cha was a HUGE improvement from week 1! Alix just looks like she’s having so much fun and she is in her element. And I agree with Derek, I love me a fringe pant. Alix’s abs!? Are you kidding! This season has toned up every single celebrity!

Dylan! What!? A leading man through and through! My jaw? On the floor! That was perfect, perfect, perfect!

Elaine, I feel content. I saw the missteps too. I mean that’s all I really have to say. I’ve seen it before from her. The dance was nothing new.

Robert, my king. His smile is so infectious. I love everything about him! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! YES!! Get out of here!!! Are you kidding!?! That was everything! Like Bruno said, so much cleaner! Like Carrie Ann said, the partnership is amazing! Derek? Keep moving those hips. I love to see it.

Jordan is so powerful, sharp, and clean. I have come to love watching her. As Bruno said, fa-bu-lous! I love Jordan and Ezra’s partnership.

Freestyle

I am so excited for Alix’s freestyle! That package has me waiting in anticipation! This was the PERFECT song choice for her!This was not a dance, but a performance! Are! You! KIDDING!?! Exactly what Derek said, it felt like a tango fusion tour performance! Like Bruno said, extreme dominatrix vibes! My absolute favorite performance by Alix Earle! Again, I reallyndonnotnknow who is going to win, but she is definitely one that deserves it!

Dylan crying has me crying! I am feeling all the feels tonight. I love the story behind his dance and this package also has me waiting in anticipation. He was hitting every single beat!!! I’m not going to lie, he was never a contender for me for the winner, but his growth alone is deserving of the mirrorball trophy. That was so beautiful.

I love a freestyle! It is my absolute favorite!

Elaine! The Parent Trap throwback! The idea of an audition! Andy’s acting! YES! I agree with Alfonso, it was so theatrical in the best way! I love how Carrie Ann noticed that Elaine shares her spotlight with others and highlighted it. I love that her journey of reclaiming dance was recognized. This finale is truly so emotional in the best ways.

Robert Irwin the man that you are! The choreography was out of this world! The energy! Robert was a pro! He owned that stage and is worthy of the mirrorball trophy! He is who everyone should aspire to be.

Jordan brings such a sexy energy! Black women being celebrated, I love to see it! A performance of performances. Yes Carrie Ann! A powerful woman of color she is!!!

I cannot even guess who is going to win. I am on the edge of my seat typing this. I don’t even know who to vote for! This is the hardest competition!
